Hey everyone, unfortunately scammers are increasingly using fake groups and accounts to target our community with their fraudulent schemes. In order to protect yourself and your assets, we urge you to be cautious and vigilant.
To avoid falling victim to these scams, we recommend the following measures:
1. Disable the add to group option in your settings for people that are not in your contact list. This will prevent random individuals from adding you to these fake groups.
2. Be wary of DMs. Our staff will NEVER DM you first under any circumstances. There are a lot of fake staff accounts going around right now. Always verify the identity of who you are communicating with. Ensure that you retain caution.
3. Do not click on any links or downloads that you receive from unknown groups or users. Triple check what you are doing.
4. Report any suspicious groups or accounts if you find any. Bringing these groups down will help other users from falling victim to these scams.
